Edges are places where things cease to be what they are. Perhaps their allure lies hidden there, in this in-between: between body and space, yesterday and tomorrow, closeness and disappearance. This magazine follows the lines along which something tips over. In that moment of holding on, and just before it tips over, it opens up before us and asks how we are. «Thank you for checking in, dear magazine!», we as readers might reply. But would it not be out of place to suddenly interrupt this magical moment of holding on? Would it not be more important to step into this tension of upheaval, into this impending transition? When we speak of edges and margins, the question centres on how we deal with them, on their form and existence. How do we, as beings, relate to them; what relationships can and must we build, sustain and experience with them?
